Abstract:
Background and Aim: The benefits of group counseling and patient education can improve the quality of life of women with cancer. The purpose of this study was to determine Effect of self-management five A model on quality of life patients with breast cancer referring to Tohid Hospital in Sanandaj in 1396. Materials and Methods: In this clinical trial, 90 patients with breast cancer were selected by available sampling method and randomly assigned to four groups (45 subjects) and control (n = 45). A QLQ-C30 questionnaire (quality of life for cancer patients) Was used to collect data. After completing the questionnaires by two groups, for the patients in the group, a five-year self-management program was implemented in 5 stages for a period of three months. For patients in the routine nursing care control group. Data were analyzed by spss software version 21 and descriptive statistics and T-test and independent T-test prototype prototypes. Results: Based on the results of T-test, there was a significant difference between the quality of life of the patients before and after the intervention (p <0.001). Also, T-test results showed that there was a significant difference between the quality of life of the patients in the control group and the post-intervention group (p <0.05).
